A completely new route,
desired, traced and undertaken by an entire family.
A personal and professional path cultivated
first in the heart and then in the land of origin.
A project that grows deeply,
as only the vine can do
Adelio Mioni represents the roots of the winery.
With passion, he immersed himself in the agricultural world
to provide nourishment and solid foundations for the project.
Always by his side, Paola, the trunk that supports
the family, a caring mother and a strong professional.
Their sons, Matteo and Giovanni, together with his wife Elisabetta,
are the shoots from which new grape clusters are born:
ideas and projects supported by study,
planning, and vineyard care.

United in a choral project
Sassi Mori is the winery in Lugo di Vicenza founded by the Mioni family in 2019, originally from the Alto Vicentino. In its name the solidity of the shared dream and the volcanic nature of the land in which it takes shape meet.
Volcanic black, Palladian white.
Sassi Mori rises among the fertile, dark hills in the province of Vicenza, framed by the first slopes of the Asiago Plateau. The landscape, embroidered with rows of vines, is enhanced by Palladio’s luminous villas.
Experience, vision and dedication.
The Mioni family has had a deep interest in wine for generations. After 30 years at the helm of a successful company in the confectionery sector, they give life to a new solid entrepreneurial project, bringing their skills and experience in the wine sector.
Precise gestures, attention to the earth.
Sassi Mori proposes itself as a new interpreter of the Breganze DOC in the name of "well done". The cultivation of the vine and the production of wine are carried out with seriousness, concreteness and accuracy.
TERRITORY
and illustrious residences.
The Sassi Mori farm is located in Lugo di Vicenza, a small
town overlooking a southern plain of alluvial origin
and embraced to the north by the first slopes of the Asiago Plateau.
A hilly landscape distinguished by captivating views,
thanks to the harmonious relationship between nature and Palladian
architecture, such as the magnificent Villa Godi Malinverni and Villa
Piovene.
The terroir
The vineyards of Sassi Mori extend within the Breganze DOC. The hills enjoy a mild climate and volcanic soil, ideal for the cultivation of vines as well as olive trees, cherry trees and chestnut woods. It is no coincidence that grapes have been at home here since prehistoric times, grown under the Roman Empire and praised during the Serenissima.
Vineyards and varieties
The Sassi Mori estate includes new plantings in places where viticulture was historically present but long neglected. The parcels are located in the municipalities adjacent to the winery: merlot, cabernet, pinot noir, the first sauvignon blanc vineyards in Fara and the 2025 sauvignon vineyard in Breganze.
Form becomes substance
Spurred cordon for Merlot, Guyot for Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir: the training systems chosen are based on obtaining the highest quality of the grapes and preserving the plants over time.
The cornerstone of Sassi Mori's production style
is technique:
every aspect, in the vineyard and the winery,
is carefully studied and designed in detail,
with great attention and respect
for the plants and the soil.
The individual bottles were conceived
even before the vineyards were planted, rooted
in the imagination of the Mioni family.
From the volcanic, fertile
soil, capable of retaining water,
come structured wines, fragrant with fresh fruit
and flowers, crisp and captivating.
SASSI MORI'S WINES
Research and
imagination.
Body and aromas.
SAUVIGNON
BLANC
SOFT
AS A CHERISHED MEMORY
HE SPEAKS SOFTLY
BUT STAYS FOR A LONG TIME
The Sauvignon Blanc grapes are hand-harvested
from a young 2022 vineyard at 280m above sea level.
The vineyard is rooted in volcanic soil,
fertile and capable of retaining water, producing
a structured wine, fragrant with hawthorn, tomato leaf,
and aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is fresh, enveloping,
and full-bodied, perfect with dishes featuring
shellfish, vegetables, and fresh cheeses.
MERLOT
FRESH AS THE DEW
ON THE VINES AT DAWN
IT SMELLS OF NATURE
AND SERENE MEMORIES
located at 280 m above sea level on volcanic soil.
After hand-harvesting, it undergoes fermentation in steel tanks.
In the glass, freshness blends with dark, juicy fruits
and pleasant evolutionary notes from aging in barriques.
